The excitement is growing as after tomorrow evening the big day will be here for festivities, spending time with family and friends, eating lots of yummy food and opening gifts! It's been a lovely year here at B&G, we've loved the lead up to Christmas and seeing all the lovely purchases all of you have made in store and online! We hope your homes look beautiful and your gifts are loved by those receiving them.
Time to get comfy in your fluffy Christmas socks, grab your favourite Christmas Jumper and snuggle up for a cosy Christmas. Layer up with throws and cushions for a truly warm and cosy setting.
Go for classic Christmas with creams and golds or how about something a little different with deep turquoise and dusty pink, as long as there is some glitter or sparkle then its all good to go!
Grab some of your favourite biscuits, a cup of tea or hot choc, sit back and soak up all the festive vibes. After all, the sofa is always the go to place after Christmas dinner, where at least one family member falls asleep after The Queens Speech!
Another amazing thing about the festive season is being able to indulge in delicious treats and home cooking. Be it a classic choice of a box of chocs like Quality Street or Roses or something a little special like these Chocolate Covered Spoons, hide a little sneaky filling underneath for a festive twist. Perhaps a spoon of Nutella or some marshmallow!
We also LOVE some cheeky DIY's here at B&G, so why not make some 'Chocolate Bark', simply melt down the chocolate you want, maybe add some nuts to it, drizzle onto some parchment and spread out to create a 'bark' like piece. Top with any of your favourite topping before refridgerating.
Another Festive treat would be a super pretty cocktail, we collected together a few recipes for some festive fizz that we know you'd love >here<
Talking about food, lets get right down to business, the Christmas Lunch! We can not wait to tuck into a mountain of delicious food.
How about adding something a little different to the table, with this Spiced Apple and Cranberry Cabbage dish. You don't need any extra stress when it comes to preparing your Christmas Feast, this recipe has a 5-10 min prep time so its really no time at all to add something delicious and different to the table!
